Rob Gasca Real Estate Group was hired by Nerds To Go as Broker representing them on their search for a new space. Nerds to Go operated their highly successful computer repair and tech support store in a space and building right in the path of the Downtown Bellevue light rail project. Their building will be used for light rail services and would no longer be a home for Nerds To Go.

Nerds To Go needed to be in a location close in proximity to their current space and provide them with high visibility along with enough space for their techs to work, ample customer parking and as always, especially in Bellevue, rent pricing would become a major concern. We reviewed the entire area for inventory and toured a number of spaces that met some of the criteria on their list but never found a perfect fit. Obstacles and challenges arose, for example, price per square foot, awkward floor plans, no signage, no parking, it went on and on.

After finding a building location that checked every box, an offer was submitted, and we started our remodeling design. But unfortunately, the option fell through and we were back at ground zero. During this time, Rob thought of a previously toured space, which was at first removed from the list. The building location was great, but the space and area in the building available for lease did not give Nerds To Go the street exposure they were looking for.

When the initial offer fell through, we returned to the previous location and were pleasantly surprised to find not only was there a space available at this building location but the space was also right in the front with plenty of street exposure. The price was right, the ownership group of the building was great to work with and Nerds To Go are extremely happy with their new location.
